A choice of three great
Sailaway boats from the
one name you can rely on

Whilst we don’t build any boat ourselves you can rest assured that we have used all our many years experience and influence, working closely with our chosen manufacturer, to help develop a selection of Sailaway boats that offer the best possible start.

Deciding on a Sailway project is an exciting choice as you to get to build a boat that is purely engineered to your tastes and exact requirements. However even for the competent DIY’er it can be quite a challenge and a commitment. So we wanted to make sure we had a choice of boats that would complement your skill level exactly. But please don’t make a decision on anything before talking it through with us first. It could just save you a lot of unnecessary pain further on down the line.

VAT FREE – Could you be eligible for a VAT exempt canal boat?

Widebeam vessels of a certain size may qualify for zero rate VAT. Qualifying a boat to be VAT exempt is a complicated process and you have to adhere to strict HM Customs & Excise rulings.
Incorrectly specifying a boat as VAT exempt can prove very costly further on down the line. With The New & Used Boat Co. you can have complete peace of mind as we’ve done all the hard work for you, in terms of research and hard work, to ensure you are protected. For example all our VAT exempt boats can be supplied with a Tonnage Certificate issued by an Approved Tonnage Surveyor which will legally prove that you have a qualifying boat. At The New & Used Boat Co. we turn VAT Free into Worry Free.

Our team of people simply live and breathe boats so right from the off you’ll be talking to a boating enthusiast not a sales person. And whether you’re a first timer or an old hand we have everything in place to make the whole process nothing short than enjoyable.

A trusted aftersales
service for
after you’ve bought

The New and Used Boat Co. isn’t one of those companies that loves the customer while they’re buying, then leaves them high and dry once the sales agreement has been signed.

A great deal of thought and planning has been put into the after-sales service. We have our own team dedicated to purely aftersales. We can’t promise every little thing is going to be perfect when you take delivery of the boat – nobody can – but we can promise to put it right as fast as possible.
