Pilot is possibly one of the most comfortable, characterful boats I've ever been on, , typified by the ingle nook style fireplace. Built as a copy of a Braunston & Blisworth tunnel tug by Tony Francis, a local builder who built a number of distinctive traditional boats.From the stern there is a very nice boatmans cabin complete with stove for comfortable cruising all year round.Engine room housing the Armstrong Sidley AS2 and all services.Bathroom with cassette toilet, sink in vanity unit and shower.Going forward the boat has a real cosy feel with period carriage lamps, ingle nook style fireplace and oak dresser unit. Painted panels are trimmed with grained wood. The bedroom is forward with the bed extending under the covered deck.This boat wont be for everyone, but someone looking for a boat of characheter, a real head turner, then this could be the boat..
