We are very pleased to be able to offer for sale Norwood, an exceptional example of a Les Allen narrowboat, owned from new by the same couple and maintained regardless of cost, as reflected in the almost new looking paintwork. The Allens yard had a rich history of boat building in the Balckcountry and their boats are instantly recognisable by there pure traditional lines. Norwood at 55' is a go anywhere boat, but also offers comfortable residential living or long term cruising throughout the system.Although this is a traditional stern boat , the slide area is enlarged creating more room for 2 people to stand within.Specification includes - 12mm bottom plate- Raw water cooled gen set - Bow thruster - Beta 50 with Aqua drive - 3kw pure sine inverter - Battery charger - High efficiency Crowthers prop - washing machine. In 2015 Norwood was fully shotblasted and 2 pack epoxy painted.
