Tasmania Narrowboat

Tasmania is a 1908 FMC horse-drawn boat originally converted by Malcolm Braine and retaining its beautiful iron Josher bow. Since then renowned boat builders, Keith Ball, and Simon Wain have both worked on her, bringing the boat to its present 60' and fitting a professionally rebuilt Lister HRW2. In 2018 a new Boatman's cabin was fitted by Dave Harris and beautifully decorated by Meg Gregory. From the Stern: Traditional Boatman's cabin, Engine room with Lister. 2nd Double cabin. Main Double Bedroom with storage drawers, wardrobe and 2 double exterior doors. Walkthrough Bathroom, shower, hand basin and Porta Potti. Galley with Heritage Diesel Range cooker/hot water/central heating. Saloon has 2 long bench seats that convert to a further double berth, glazed doors and sliding hatch to bow with fitted seat lockers. Comfortable light, warm vessel.
