Uranus Narrowboat

Uranus, built for the GU Company in 1935,started life as a butty being converted in 1977/78 to a motor,retaining the bow section and having a full length cabin added by Malcolm Braine, renowned restorer/ builder. Recently a full professional paint job was undertaken in the colours of John Knill. The accommodation is as follows. A comfortable saloon area with under gunwale cupboard, Multi fuel stove, wardrobe,TV cupboard & pullmans dinette.Galley with Vanette cooker, 12v fridge & water heater. Bedroom with cross bed & deep bedside cupboards with hanging rails. Bathroom with pumpout toilet, hip bath with shower over and sink in a vanity unit.Engine room and boatman's cabin. Uranus has been in good ownership, being maintained to a high standard,reflected in the recent paint job.
