Thornberry is a much travelled boat owned by a stalwart of the inland waterways movement, now sadly passed away. The shell and superstructure is by Les Allen, much respected builders in Oldbury. The interior was fitted out by the late Peter Millward. The layout is very much traditional with a good size saloon at the front with a Kabola diesel stove with back boiler.
