Actief is the original Dutch Barge everyone is looking for having a record of maintenance going back 32 years and being in the same ownership for that time. The owners are long time historic boat owners, well able to answer any questions. Briefly, Actief was built in 1926 of rivetted steel, in recent years she has been overplated up to the waterline with welded steel(Most recent survey from 2019).The accommodation briefly comprises of a comfortable collapsible wheelhouse. Galley/dining cabin. Comfortable Saloon. Bathroom & largely original self contained stern cabin. Actief Is a fine example of this type of craft, benefiting greatly from being in the same ownership for many years .
