I have long admired the quality and workmanship which Brinklow Boat Services are renowned for both in restoration and new re-makes. Astrea is the latest boat to come out of the yard and simply blew me away when I went to view! Astraea is a small Woolwich remake built to original plans and measurements taken off existing boats. Steelwork by Steve Priest and wood work by Rex Wain and Ken Benchley.The interior fitout is elegant and stylish with a feel and quality from yachts & motor crusers of yesteryear. But don't think this boat is in any way lacking in modern day technology it isn't. The heating is via a Hurricane diesel heater + a multi fuel stove.The lighting is LED throughout. The engine room contains a newly rebuilt Gardner 2LW, Victron Combi Inverter, Isolation transformer & an Impressive gel battery bank. This boat has to be viewed to be fully appreciated.
