Kingsley, originally named Bolsover was built by Water Travel in 1974.Water Travel at the time were builders of quality traditional narrowboats.Bolsover was built as a copy of a small Northwich.She started life with a Masonite top and at a later date had this replaced by the present steel cab by Roger Lorenz in 1991, at the same time a fore cabin was added. She's priced to reflect that due to unfortunate circumstances the present owner is unable to proceed with the new fitout which has been started. She was in her day a lovely boat, a real head turner.The front covered hold area with forecabin would maybe suit someone selling or working from the boat. Kingsley is available with a survey from 2015.For someone willing to put some time and effort in this will once again be a lovely boat.Please contact Ian at Mercia for more details.
