GoGo or RAF1183 Which is believed to be her official name was built in 1931 by Samuel White & Co on the Isle of White for the Royal Air Force as a seaplane refuelling boat. The present owner has devoted much time and money restoring this piece of history to a very usable, comfortable cruising boat,ideal for river, estuary or coastal cruising.The original hull(1931)of steel frames and plate was overplated in 5mm in 2006, this was followed by the wheelhouse in the same year. The exterior and interior of the boat was blasted and 2 pack epoxy coated in 2010 & 2011. The specification includes- Lister JP4, rebuilt with new pistons, rings & liners-2x180ah domestic batteries-2xbow thruster batteries-2xstarter batteries-Victron Isolation transformer-Stirling pro combi s inverter-bow thruster-hydraulic steering-Raymar navigation instrumentation.This is a very up to date boat, ready to cruise.
