Emerald No1 was built in the 1890's by Bantock, as a butty. Over the years the boat has evolved into what you see now. Emerald is now a tug with a motor counter, powered by James, the JP3.She is a very distinctive boat with her very recognisable Bantock bow. From the stern you enter the engine room housing the magnificent Lister JP3 and all services. A passage way leads off the engine room with a bathroom off with pumpout toilet, sink in vanity unit and shower cubicle. Next is the galley with a 12v electric fridge and Wallis diesel oven and hob . A cosy saloon with painted t&g panels and 2 heavy decorative heavy beams. There is a hinged table and seating for two, multi fuel stove. Either side of the bow doors are two cabinets with shelving above. The bed is situated under the bow deck, this is a nice area with the raised false bow cabin giving a roomy feel.Trad boat with bags of charm.
