Caggy is what she's always been, a very individual looking working tug, owned by the late Alan Stevens, better known as Caggy .
It is believed she was one of 16 commissioned by Winston Churchill in 1941. All were named after aircraft, Caggy's original name is believed to be Dakota.
Caggy was built by Harris Brothers at the Bumblehole in Netherton.
These boats were built as ice breaking tugs with a very distinctive bow and barrel sides.
Caggy is a real piece of history, with no frills, just the essentials.
